Hi! I’m Justin. I’m an I.T. worker interested in moving over to the data science field. I have a business degree, and (in order to build foundation-level data science knowledge) I’ve spent the last few years studying mostly math and computer science at a local university. I’m now interested in studying statistics at the graduate level, and I’ve started learning about data science itself.
Now that I’ve started looking into actual data science, I thought it would be a good idea to create a blog in order to document my journey, and hopefully readers might pickup some new tidbits of knowledge here and there.
In order to get my feet wet, I’ve started the Data Science specialization at Coursera. I can’t say much about it yet, but it does seem like a lot of effort was put into it, and I’m sure it’ll be a good learning experience.
